NWWS is able to provide a wide variety of wine-related audits. Often we are asked to audit wine production and bottling facilities, for existing or prospective clients. We also provide a ‘pre-audit’ service for bottlers, to help them prepare for third-party audits, and to identify areas for improvement or rationalisation.
NWWS has experience of developing HACCP (safety and quality) and helping clients to achieve BRC, IFS and ISO certification. As part of this process, we can provide an external audit of HACCP procedures.
We have also been engaged by banks (notably the EBRD), financial institutions, and multi-national corporations to provide technical due diligence prior to investment in the wine industry. We have particular experience of eastern European countries in this respect.
